What do i see in my mind while i read this sentence?

"He sets them to work, he gives back to the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself." This sentence from Animal Farm by George Orwell. This sentence in my eyes and mind is saying that he is making the animals work. He is only giving them what they need to survive and not starve to death. Then he keeps the rest for himself, as if he wants to use their work for him own advantage. He wants to benefit from what the animals do to help the farm. In the book Animal Farm Old Major, the prize Middle White boar says many saying that have deep feeling and give a lot of meaning between the lines. Major says in the book that Mr. Jones (the owner of the farm) is the lord of all the animals. Major is sitting down talking about him dream. All the animals at the time are surrounding him, listening to his wisdom and the way he speaks. He speaks with confidence and does not back down from his word. Major talks about how the animals are equal in every way possible. Although, some cats got after mice as food, he says they are still equal. Mr. Jones was a drunk that sometimes didn't pay attention to what his animals do and frankly doesn't care. Major and the rest use this as an advantage to what they want and what they need.

What holds most power in your life?

The person that holds the most power in my life is probably my dad. He isn't very strict or loud at all. He is kind of shy till you get to know him better. He owns a business and sometimes it seems like that's all he can talk about. He is there for me when I have my good and bad times, as weird as it is, even with boy problems. Sometimes his answer is to not have a boy friend, but that's not really the point I'm getting to. I look up to him as my hero. He always knows the right thing to say, even when I know he is angry with me. I know he has power over me because if I let him down it will kill me inside. Although, he is very forgiving. If something went wrong in the house between me and my stepmom he will forgive either one of us, depending on who's fault it is. Even though, he let's me have my freedom. Until, once he doesn't know where I am at he gets worried like every other parent. He says no when I ask him for money sometimes. He says no every once in awhile. But as you may know he is a parent and as most parents he has power over me.

Why do teens use drugs?

"Why did you throw your life away?" my mom said. "Why did you have to make a bad example on your little sisters?" All over the world teens try drugs. Only to either make their parents think "What did I do wrong? or Why can't I protect them?" Most teens don't care if it makes their parents feel bad or if it makes even them feel bad about themselves. Teens pressure each other everyday to use drugs by saying "it's cool", "relax",and so on. Most teens say they want to say no but that can't, but the real reason is because they don't want to stop using the drugs.

One of the possible causes of teens using drugs is because they want to be treated better or fit in more. Sometimes when teens are at school that get treated different because they aren't doing what other teens are doing after school. For instance, some teens will walk past other people and over hear them talking about going and doing it after school. They also hear them say how cool it is and how it is so fun. So the teen will walk up to them and ask if they can join. Teens put peer pressure on one another and make them feel bad if they don't do drugs. They will say things like "your a goody two shoes or your a nerd." They ones that say that don't realize how it makes the other person feels. Teens might become depressed or sad by the things that others say about them or to them.

Another possible cause why teens are trying/using drugs is because they want to be the "bad kid". They want to be known as the bad kid throughout the school and to their friends and peers. This may seem stupid and dumb to parents or adults but to teens it is a sign of popularity. Most teens want to be popular to be noticed, to be the fun person to hang around or the person that if their name is mentioned someone will say "oh I know that guy/girl!". Teens think that doing drugs does make them "cool". Most teens want to be popular for the wrong reasons and that is one of them.

After, Teens also have many other reasons why they would want to use drugs. Maybe they heard of how drugs can relieve stress. If the person has many things either going on at home or if the have just a lot of things going on in their lives in general. The teens will have this as a last "resort". Teens can be influenced that drugs can be relieving so they think that if they do them that the problems will just go away. That isn't true though. If you have problems they aren't going to go away just like that. You have to deal with your problems, maybe even settle them. For instance, if you have a guy/girl that you really like, but they don't like you back then your most likely going to be sad. So you deal with the problem with teens running into drugs as a back-up plan. What they really should do is move on because I believe everyone in the world has a special person out there, waiting for them, you just have to live life because they will find you.

In conclusion, teens use drugs for the WRONG reasons. Most teens don't realize that they are till it's to late. The teens use drugs for popularity, stress, to be cool, or even to be treated better. Talk to your kids about this or if your a teen then don't make the mistake that most teens do.

How do people impact Global warming?

People don't really pay attention to all the things they do that really does NOT help Global Warming at all. For starters some people don't recycle. This means that the things that they throw away that can't decompose are going to stay in the ground which can kill some animals' habitats or just animals in general. If you recycle then this won't happen. They will be able toke your the items to make other items which is reusing. We drive cars that don't help at all because of the pollution. By doing all these things is making the ice burgs around the world melt. This isn't good at all. By the ice burgs melting makes the water rise, which means that some of the countries or islands around the world are going to flood. The flooding can cause to people not having homes or even a countries/ land to live on. Where are then going to live? Where are the going to go? Well people aren't making this easy on anybody so help save the earth! Its best for everyone.

How does driving gas cars impact global warming?

First, the more cars there are means more roads. This means less land and cutting down trees to make room for roads. The roads take time to put down but it can ruin some animal hibitats. Cars come in many different sizes. These can be really big or even really small. This really does make a difference on how much gas the car uses, the more gas used the more polution produced by the car. Cars produce gases that are NOT good for the earth and doesn't help global warming at all. If you want to make a difference then car pool. Ride your bike to the next block because this saves money and the planet all at the same time. This is gives you benifits also. So help save the planet, help defeat global warming.

Buddhism goes by the organization of the Varna System (caste system). This system has many different classes and if you are in a certain class, you get a certain respect.

Buddhas have a belief of Buddha himself, the founder, so they respect that. They don't think that one god or a god itself made this world. Although, the religion does respect that other countries believe in different god

s and different ways of life. They don't like fighting and they try to respect others in the same religion as well as others not in their religion. Buddhist like to do certain rituals that include dancing flowers, preying, and other unique ways to respect there cultures and gods.

Why do most people fight?

I think that people fight because they are mad at one another. Being mad isn't a bad thing but you don't have to take it out on anyone. Well this shows that you are letting out your emotions. Some people fight because of jealousy or even because they are sad. If you have someone that bothers you in any kind of way you can go to a friend or even a trustworthy friend. This will help with stress which actually can cause pain of even death. Trust me its happened to my dad, he had so much stress that it almost killed him, the good part is that it didn't. Anyway, so if you have stress you can also write it down or even listen to music. It really does help, you can listen to songs that you can express your feelings with and even help you let out the stress. Letting out your stress can help you in the end and it will help you feel better. Think about it, do you have stress?
